Copy and Contract Conditions

1. Italian Cooking & Living (publisher) is not responsible for errors in key numbers or other type set.
2. Cancellations will not be accepted after space closing date and none may be considered executed unless acknowledged by the publisher.
3. By submitting advertisements, advertisers and advertising agencies each represent that they are authorized to publish entire contents and subject matter of such advertisements.
4. Advertisers and advertising agencies jointly and severally agree to protect, indemnify, and hold harmless the publisher from all claims or actions arising out of, or based on: the unauthorized use of any person's name or photograph, sketch, map, word, label, trademark or other copyrighted matter, or for any false, misleading or libelous statements or representations contained in advertising purchased from Italian Cooking & Living.
5. Advertisers and advertising agencies jointly and severally agree to be responsible for payment to publisher for all space purchased under this rate card. Disclaimers are not permitted. Sequential Liability is not accepted.
6. The publisher will hold advertising plates and materials for 12 months after the date of insertion.
7. All orders and advertising must be accepted by the publisher in New York; however, the publisher reserves the unrestricted right to reject any advertising.
8. The publisher will not be bound by any conditions, printed or otherwise, appearing on contract, insertion orders, or copy instructions when such conditions conflict with regulations set forth in the rate card.
