Strawberry and Banana SaladA web-exclusive recipe from Italian Cooking and Living|
3 pints fresh strawberries
2 bananas
juice of 1 lemon
½ cup sugar
4 mint leaves
Wash and cut the strawberries in half (you can cut them in smaller pieces if they're particularly large). Peel and cut the bananas in ¼-inch slices. Place them in a large bowl, add the sugar and drizzle the lemon juice. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Serve with a mint leaf. Serves 4
