Giuseppe Fanelli
Giuseppe Fanelli of F.lli Ponte developed his passion for cooking as a child, watching his mother and grandmothers from the South of Italy delight the family with their Sunday meals.He graduated from The Sullivan County Community College after two years of enrollment in their culinary program. His first job after graduation was with the Delta Queen Steamboat company in New Orleans, LA.
His confidence in the kitchen comes in part from a brief stint at New York's cutting edge Union Pacific restaurant under Rocco DiSpirito. Later Giuseppe spent two years as sous-chef at Lidia Bastianich's Felidia in New York, and the two years before that at the dynamic F.lli Ponte, where he has worked his way up the line to executive chef.
After passing a test run in Frank Pellegrino Jr's Baldoria with flying colors, Giuseppe is back at F.lli Ponte delighting his customers with the truest flavors of Italy.
