Rossano Giannini
Rossano Giannini is an executive chef specializing in the cuisine of Tuscany. Born in Lucca, Italy, he attended the Culinary Institute G. Martini in Montecantini Terme and has perfected his culinary skills throughout Tuscany. As a world traveler, Giannini brought the flavors of Tuscany to the unlikely locales of Egypt and Asia. As Chef Giannini's reputation grew, he traveled to New York City where he worked in several Manhattan restaurants, including Torre di Pisa. He was Executive Chef of Trattoria Fratelli in Ridgewood, NJ. Giannini is President of the Tri-State area chapter of Federazione Italiana Cuochi. Giannini just opened Lanterna, nestled in the village of Nyack, NY where he uses his culinary skills to create and serve the delicious food of Tuscany. Dishes include fresh pasta, fish, and meats as well as homemade desserts. Signature dishes include Cestino di Parmigiano , Risotto , and Medaglione di Vitello con Porcini
