Carmine Marletta
Carmine Marletta started his culinary career at the early age of 9 where he helped his parents at their family Restaurant. There he learned the basics of traditional Italian Cuisine. After graduating High School, Carmine enrolled into New York Institute of Technology Culinary Arts. In 1983 after graduating top of his class with honors, he wasted no time in throwing himself straight into the culinary world.
He has worked for some of the most influential and talented Chefs in New York. In 1993 after rising thru the ranks he established himself as one of the premier Chefs in Manhattan where he joined Millennium Hilton where he took over as the Executive Chef. From there Carmine has led his field in establishing trends, and has been influential in each of the Hotels that he has worked at, which include; NY Hilton, Rihga Royal, and now proudly works at the Intercontinental Hotel the Barclay.
He has been honored with several gold and silver medals in culinary competitions, appeared on several cooking shows, been published in Magazines, and Books. He has led brigades of cooks from as small as 6 to as many as 350.
After three and half decades of culinary experience, he now has truly become one of the “Great Chefs” of America
