Douglas Moyer

Douglas J. Moyer, Executive Chef at Abondante Italian Trattoria, is a kitchen veteran, having started his career at an early age. At 13 he began doing prep work at a seasonal seafood restaurant, and only 4 years later, became Assistant Chef at a family-style restaurant. From there he moved on to become Food and Beverage Director at the Lakes Region Greyhound Park for a period of 6 years, as well as starting his own restaurant venture, specializing in grilled meats. At Abondante, Moyer has become famous for his authentic Italian dishes, as well as for his entertaining and informative cooking classes.
