Calabria
Most grapes in Calabria are grown on the Pollino massif or on the Tyrrhenian and Ionian extensions of the Sila plateau. Red wines prevail here, with Gaglioppo, Nerello and Greco Nero being the most widespread grapes. The Pollino DOC is particularly notable, but many other DOCs and IGTs are produced.
