Trentino-Alto Adige

In Alto Adige, grape growing is the dominant form of agriculture, but in Trentino, the vines thrive alongside other crops. This region is the top in the country for their percentage of DOC wines produced (67 percent) compared to the overall regional total. Schiava is the dominant grape varietal, but Teroldego, Marzemino and Nosiola are also grown.
