Mozzarella and Tomato Crostini A web-exclusive recipe from Italian Cooking and Living
8 slices Tuscan bread
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
16 slices tomato
16 slices mozzarella
oregano
salt
Preheat the oven to 450°. Place the bread on a baking
sheet and toast it until it becomes golden. Drizzle each slice with the olive
oil, top with two slices of tomato and mozzarella, and season with a little
oregano and salt. Return to the oven and bake until the mozzarella melts, about
3 minutes. Serve hot. Serves 4
