Caramelized Pears with Grana Padano Cheese WedgesA web-exclusive recipe from Italian Cooking and Living2 Anjou pears, ripe and firm
1/4 stick unsalted butter
1/2 cup sugar
4 small wedges Grana Padano cheese
Peel, core and cut the pears into 8 wedges. Melt butter in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add the sugar and pears and cook for about 10 minutes or until the sugar caramelizes to a light golden color. Serve immediately with Grana wedges on the side. Serves 4
